In order to further promote the construction of scientific research institutions and think tanks at all levels, the school held a conference on the construction of scientific research institutions of the School of Economics and Management and the evaluation and acceptance of key research bases of Humanities and Social Sciences in Hubei Province in the faculty house on the afternoon of June 9th. The conference was organized by the Office of Scientific Research and Discipline Construction of the College and was divided into three stages.

The first stage is to hold the scientific research institution exchange meeting from 12:00-13:50 noon. Vice dean Huang Minxue first introduced the research projects and funds of the college. Later, Qi Shaozhou, the head of research institutions, discussed the positioning and characteristic development of different research institutions, and suggested that schools and colleges should be more relaxed in the management of research institutions, appropriately extend the assessment period, strengthen cultivation, and make the assessment methods for different types of research institutions more scientific and reasonable.

The second stage is the construction of scientific research institutions and think tanks held from 14:00 to 15:45 PM, presided over by Huang Minxue. First, Jiang Xingli speech, her organization communication meeting on time at noon is summarized, and the different types of institutions how to play a role, how can you maximize return society, she hope that through school to promote and support, to further stimulate the potential of various scientific research institutions, to play its leading academic, service enterprises, client policy recommendations.

Subsequently, Li Xiaokun, vice president and Director of the Platform Office of Chinese Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences, described the strategic layout of building a new type of think tank with Chinese characteristics and striving to achieve high-level disciplines. Professor Ye Chusheng, co-director of economic Development Research Center, introduced the construction of the base in recent years. In the end, Ye chusheng expressed his thoughts on what kind of ideological pursuit should be pursued in the construction of double first-class disciplines, hoping that the Economic Development Research Center could become the ideological home of scholars inside and outside the university.

The third stage was the meeting for the evaluation and acceptance of hubei Humanities and Social Science Key Research Base held from 15:50 to 17:30 in the afternoon, presided over by Huang Minxue. Chen Shiyin, deputy director of platform Department of Humanities and Social Sciences Academy of The University, introduced the relevant methods of provincial base evaluation and the pre-evaluation situation of provincial base. We learned from each other, and made the final effort for the upcoming evaluation and acceptance work of hubei Provincial Key research base of humanities and social sciences organized by the office of provincial Education Department.
